Last updated: 2026. This policy explains what LifePath ("we", "LifePath") collects and how it is used.

1. Your simulation stays on your device

The life simulation runs entirely in your browser. The country you choose, your household background, your seed and every decision you make are processed by JavaScript on your own device. They are never transmitted to us, because there is no server receiving them. We do not store, log or analyse the lives you simulate.

If you want to share a life, the site generates the link or text you copy — that action happens on your side too. We never see it unless you send it to us yourself.

2. Cookies

We use one cookie of our own, cookie-consent, to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so the banner does not reappear on every page. If you accept, analytics and advertising cookies may also be set by the services that provide them. If you reject, the site works exactly the same and only the optional cookies are absent.

3. Advertising

With your consent, we display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings.

4. Analytics

With your consent, we use privacy-friendly, cookieless web analytics to count page views. These do not create advertising cookies and do not build a profile of you across sites.

5. What we never collect

• Your simulation choices, seed, or results.
• Names, email addresses, phone numbers or any account information.
• Precise location. The country you pick is a setting, not a location.

We do not operate accounts, so there is no password for you to reuse anywhere else.

6. Third parties

Where you accept cookies, Google serves the advertising and analytics scripts. Their handling of your data is governed by Google's own privacy policy. The country statistics come from the World Bank, and are downloaded at build time rather than requested from your browser.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
